Performance NotesThe EE British Academy Film Awards were celebrated across the weekend of 10 and 11 April 2021. Two shows, recognising the very best in film of the past year and the craft of film, were broadcast virtually from the Hall.

This event was broadcast on BBC One and BBC One HD at 19:00-21:00 on Sunday 11 April. Both programmes will be broadcast in all major territories around the world.

There was a small red carpet at Door 12. Other award nominees not attending in person were photographed / filmed from remote venues / homes to take part in the evening's events via Zoom.

Liam Payne began the show with an AR-inspired performance that saw the singer deliver a duet with a specially-animated version of himself.

All BAFTA, contractor and RAH staff were required to take Covid tests before working onsite. A test centre was set-up in Imperial College Union Concert Hall.

An after party was held at The Savoy hotel.
