Performance Notes | The Black Music Coalition was established to protect, promote and advance the interests and views of Black Music Industry Professionals and all Black lives in the UK.
The goal is to achieve equity and equality through positive action. An integral part of our manifesto is legacy building.
In September 2021 The Black Music Coalition has come together with the Royal Albert Hall and The Future Is to spotlight some of The Black Experience in UK Music.
Through live panel conversation we will highlight the journeys so far and collectively discuss what the future needs to look like in order to create that equity and equality for existing and future Black Music Professionals.
We are proud to be working with the Royal Albert Hall and feel their ambition to be part of the change we need to see is timely and well placed.
The Future Is are already leaders in curating events centred around education, self development and guidance for our next generation of creative talent, we, The Black Music Coalition are proud to be working alongside them.
This free event is aimed at those working or interested in a career within the music and creative industries, who want to gain a deeper understanding of issues of equity and equality that exist, and what action can be taken to bring about positive change. |
