Performance NotesThe Royal British Legion will once again welcome members of the public and various VIP guests to join in an annual Festival of Remembrance in honour of those who have given their lives in the service of their country. Over 6 million people watch the Festival of Remembrance on the BBC and it is also popular with radio listeners and audiences world-wide.

To mark 100 years since our collective national Remembrance traditions came together for the first time, we will be remembering the military and civilian, the old and young, and the British and Commonwealth men and women who have fought wars, disasters and pandemics to protect and defend Britain.

Queen Elizabeth II did not attend as she was advised to rest due to a back sprain.

World premiere of new commission 'Alive With Poppies', Tomos Roberts.
