Performance Notes | A meeting presided over by The Prince of Wales, as Grand Master, to enable Freemasons to give expression to their feelings of loyalty and devotion towards HM Queen Victoria. There is a full report of this meeting attended by over 7,000 Freemasons from around the world in The Times, 15 June 1897.
Tickets issued to Freemasons only. Dress code black morning coats, black ies, white gloves and Masonic craft regalia. 8,000 tickets were sold for a guinea each. |
