Performance Notes"The concert given by Mr William Carter at the Albert Hall on Saturday night under the title of Imperial concert did not attract a particularly large audience. The programme was of considerable length and included the names of many of the artistes who have appeared at Mr Carter's recent concerts. Most of the songs were of a patriotic nature, but many of them were of no great musical merit. The most sucessful performance was that which Mr Watkin Mills gave of 'Hearts of Oak'; Mr Mills was in excellent voice and sang with great effect. Miss Clara Butt was heard to advantage in Sullivan's 'Lost Chord,' also singing Liddle's 'Abide with Me' and Madame Belle Cole sang 'The Minstrel Boy' with good effect. Miss Grace Oakley, Mr Iver Mckay and Mr Griffith Percy also sang."
