Performance Notes | "The official programme and souvenir which is to be issued at tonight's meeting... is an interesting publication. In the centre of the cover, which is of vellum, is a picture of Mr Chamberlain, with representations of the 'Big Ben' and Victoria towers of the Houses of Parliament, one on either side. The frontispiece is a photogravure of Mr Chamberlain seated at a writing table. Then were is a page devoted to portraits of the members of the executive committee of the League; and on the page containing the agenda is a picture of the Duke of Argyll, the chairman of the meeting. Mr Chamberlain's proposals are set out and there is a list of those who intend to be present on the platform, as well as a number of cartoons and other matter of interest to tariff reformeres. The souveniers are to be sold at 6d. each." (The Times, 7 July 1905)
