Performance Notes | This reception was held to celebrate Mr Chamberlain's 73d birthday and given to the vice-presidents of the Tariff Reform League by Mrs James Buchanan, of Lavington Park, Petworth.
According to The Times (9 July 1909) approxiamately 2,500 invited guests attended this reception.
