Performance Notes | "Over two hours before the arrival of Mr Balfour seige was laid to the doors of the hall. The applications for tickets had outnumbered the seats available by three to one, and it was stated that the officials of the Metropolitan Division of the National Union, the organisers of the meeting, had never before had so great a task in satidfying and denying demands for accommodation."
