Performance NotesSarah Bernhardt had been due to appear at this concert but was unable to due to the directors of the Coliseum, London refusing.
According to the Daily Telegraph (16 October 1911) Sir Charles Santley and Miss Muriel Foster came out of retirement to perform for the concert. Madame Clara Butt was due to perform but wa stouring in South Africa and instead sent a floral tribute to Albani in the shape of a harp.
