Performance Notes8,000 children supported by the Children's Happy Evenings Association were entertained at the Royal Albert Hall organised by Viscount Acheson and Lady Bland-Sutton. A tea was provided and Mr J Heywood contributed 4,000 buns. Messrs' J J Packer of Bristol contributed a packet of chocolate for each child and Messrs. Carson of Glasgow contributed a souvenir box of chocolates for every adult.

According to The Daily Telegraph (14 December 1913) the children were brought in special trains to the nearest stations to the Hall.
