Performance NotesAccording to the Daily Telegraph (12 July 1920) all the members of the delegraion who went to Russia were present except Mrs Philip Snowden and Mr Tome Shaw MP, and also Mr Clifford Allen who was seriously ill in Reval. Over the front of the central gallery was incribed in bold letters 'Russia Needs Us To-day; We Shall Need Russia To-morrow.' Margaret Bonfield was highly critical of Winston Churchill calling him, '...a most despicable creature and the most dangerous man in Europe', and Mr Purcell and Mr Willans but hoped that the working classes would copy the Russians and bring about revolution.
