"The Labour Party's campaign against reprisals in Ireland ended last night in a demonstration at the Albert Hall. Mr Lansbury presided, and was supported by Mr J Bromley, Mr A G Cameron, Mr Frank Hodges, Mr Arthur Greenwood, and Miss Margaret Bondfield. A resolution was passed demanding an immediate judicial enquiry into reprisals, the withdrawal of all armed forces from Ireland, and the election of an Irish Constiuent assembly to draft an Irish constitution, subject to the protection of minorities, and the prevention of Ireland becoming a navel and military menace to Britain."
