"ALBERT HALL FESTIVAL. Prince of Wales Speaks. INDIAN RULERS PRESENT.
Sitting in the midst of thousands of ex-Service men and women of all ranks, the Prince of Wales last night took part in the great British Legion Festival of Empire and Remembrance at the Albert Hall. The Ruling Princes of India, wearing their gorgeous coloured silken robes, were present, too, bringing with them a vivid memory of th ethousands of gallant Indian troops who died on the battlefield. Storms of cheering and applause greeted the announcement of the names, and special cheers came for "Ranji" (the Jam Sahib of Nawanagar) and for the Aga Khan."

In the Royal Box with the Prince of Wales were Earl Jellicoe (President of the British Legion) and Lady Jellicoe, General Dawes (American Ambassador), Colonel John Brown (Chairmain of the British Legion), and Major J B Cohen MP.
