Performance NotesIrrepressible star YUNGBLUD makes his Hall and Teenage Cancer Trust debut in 2022.

YUNGBLUD is the voice of a generation, using his music to unite and empower the youth of today. In 2020, he was crowned MTV Push: Ones to Watch winner and shortlisted for the BBC Sound poll, then launched ‘The YUNGBLUD Podcast’ on BBC Sounds, which sees him meet music fans to discuss issues affecting them.

YUNGBLUD released his coming-of-age album weird! in December 2020, debuting at No.1 on the UK Official Album Chart, before winning Best Alternative act at the 2021 MTV EMAs. Performing to sold-out crowds in over 20 countries, he comes to the Royal Albert Hall as a global star.

This show is supporting Teenage Cancer Trust. Every day, seven young people aged 13-24 hear the words “you have cancer”. Cancer can throw young people’s lives into chaos, leaving them feeling isolated, scared and out of control.

Teenage Cancer Trust puts young people in the best possible place, physically, mentally and emotionally, for their cancer treatment and beyond. They do it through their expert nurses, support teams, and hospital units. And they are the only UK charity dedicated to providing this specialised nursing care and support.

Young people with cancer have never needed that support more, which is why getting back on stage at the Royal Albert Hall plays such a vital part in making sure no young person faces cancer alone.

Fans camped overnight on the Hall's South Steps to get to the front of the arena and by late afternoon their were several hundred fans outside in party mood. After the concert Yungblud came outside Dr 11 to meet fans, posing on a flight case. During the concert the crowd were lively with dancing, circle pits and a wall of death.
