| Performance Notes | Madness will make their Royal Albert Hall and Teenage Cancer Trust debut in 2022.
Madness famously emerged from the backstreets of Camden Town in the late 1970s, part of the original two-tone movement, who went on to become national treasures. Famed for their huge chart hits (including classic songs Our House, One Step Beyond and Baggy Trousers), unique style and sense of humour, they stand as unique amongst much-loved British pop bands.
The evergreen Nutty Boys got back on the road at the end of last year for their first tour after 18 months in lockdown and Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall will be a treat for fans before a summer 2022 return.
This show is supporting Teenage Cancer Trust. Every day, seven young people aged 13-24 hear the words you have cancer. Cancer can throw young peoples lives into chaos, leaving them feeling isolated, scared and out of control.
Teenage Cancer Trust puts young people in the best possible place, physically, mentally and emotionally, for their cancer treatment and beyond. They do it through their expert nurses, support teams, and hospital units. And they are the only UK charity dedicated to providing this specialised nursing care and support.
Young people with cancer have never needed that support more, which is why getting back on stage at the Royal Albert Hall plays such a vital part in making sure no young person faces cancer alone. |
