Featuring at this Classical Coffee Morning are the vocal students from the Royal College of Music Junior Department, performing The Only Pretty Ring Time songs and ensembles in celebration of springtime and love.
The RCMJD has a strong choral tradition, and in recent years its singers have toured extensively throughout Europe and closer to home, featuring in world premiere performances at Temple Church and St Jamess Piccadilly, and for Her Majesty The Queen at Westminster Abbey.
The Royal College of Music Junior Department offers advanced training to young musicians aged 8 to 18, providing individually-tailored programmes of instrument, voice and composition lessons, supported by chamber music, orchestra, choir and musicianship classes. |
