Performance Notes'Darwin's Dream' composed by Graham Treacher and librettist Stephen Webster. 'Darwin's Dream' was a theatre piece about the history of life on the planet - from the BIg Bang to the present day. It focused on the travels, ideas and dreams of Charles Darwin exploring scientfic themes through music, drama and innovative multi-media imagery. A choir of 200 children assembled to sing five songs within the show. There were two performances - a schools matinee and an evening public perfomance.
