Performance Notes | This was the first visit of Orange RockCorps to the UK, using music to introduce young people to volunteering. The RockCorps programme was established in 2005 to bring the concept of music, community and volunteerism together. Encouraging community involvement, the scheme asks for volunteers to give four hours to community work (through RockCorps organised programmes) for which they will earn a ticket to a live music event. Successfully introduced in the United States, 2006 saw The Fox Theatre in Atlanta host stars such as The Game, Lil'Wayne and Big Boi and the performance was broadcast on MTV2. This will be their first event in the UK.
The event was broadcast on TV.
During Busta Rhymes set he invited the audience to take part in a two minute workout. |
