Performance NotesThe centre is a vibrant educational and cultural resource in the community which offers opportunities to children of all levels of musical ability, by supplying specialist music teaching to more than 60 schools in the area. They run 42 ensembles through which nearly 1,000 instrumentalists and singers aged between 6 and 18 enjoy music making in orchestras, wind bands, brass bands, choirs, jazz bands, guitar ensembles and recorder consorts. Approxiamately 1,400 students took part.
