Performance NotesEvery year, BBC Children in Need creates magic moments that raise huge amounts of money for disadvantaged children, and at this show the UK's finest musicians helped to raise more than ever with a spectacular show.

For BBC Children in Need 2009, Gary Barlow and Take That added to the magic by inviting an all-star line-up of rock and pop's finest to take part in BBC Children in Need Rocks the Royal Albert Hall, including: Sir Paul McCartney, Lily Allen; Dizzee Rascal; Dame Shirley Bassey; Leona Lewis; Paolo Nutini; Mika; Snow Patrol; Cheryl Cole; Katherine Jenkins and Muse.

Take That and Robbie Williams were reunited for the first time since Robbie left the boy band.

Radio 1's Chris Moyles hosted the event alongside Peter Kay, Fearne Cotton, James Corden and Sir Terry Wogan.

This concert was promoted by SJM Concerts, organised by Gary Barlow and raised over £2 million for disadvantaged children.

Dame Shirley Bassey duetted with Dizzee Rascal and the evening culminated with everyone gathering on stage to sing 'Hey Jude'.

The event was recorded and broadcast on BBC One.
