The Night of 1000 Voices, the star-studded event celebrating musical theatre at the Royal Albert Hall, raised the roof and £100,000 for blood cancer charity Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.Since 1999, The Night of 1000 Voices has delighted capacity audiences; once again thrill to the sight of dazzling lighting and fireworks, the sound of the huge massed choir from around the British Isles, and The City of London Philharmonic who will accompany some very special stars in a musical night to remember. Every year a musical great or an aspect of musical theatre is chosen to be celebrated - these have included The Broadway Musical, Cy Coleman, Stephen Sondheim, Tim Rice and Trevor Nunn.
