Performance NotesThis was a RAH Learning and Participation event. Students from 12 schools from London and Lincolnshire worked together to produce a film treatment for a new version of Madam Butterfly. This pitch day saw them present their ideas toa panel of judges who decided on the winning idea. The groups reconvened in the evening in the Gallery to find out which treatment was successful before finally seeing the show which inspired all of these ideas. The winning pitch was made into a film by filmmaker Rikki Beadle-Blair and was screened in the Elgar Room later in 2011. The presentation day was be filmed by Angelica films and made into a documentary to accompany the finished film.
