| Performance Notes | In 2010, Violen Tango toured in Europe and South America, presenting "Rock de Nylon", their new album. Following 16 tours in the last six years, the band has been declared to be of "Cultural and Artistic Interest" by the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Culture.
With more than 25.000 CD`s sold, the schedule of the Rock de Nylon tour had more than 50 concerts programmed between June and September in countries such as Spain, Switzerland, Italy, Serbia, Germany, Austria, Croatia and England, where they played at the Glastonbury Festival.
The "Rock de Nylon" concept is based on bringing real and passionately performed Tango to every culture, by setting aside the existing concept of "Tourist Tango". Violentango retain the roots and soul of the genre but brings a completely new approach and vision.
They will be playing material from the aforementioned album and also performing new compositions at ignite. |
