| Performance Notes | Poland-born Maciek Pysz has established himself as an up-and-coming young Jazz, latin and classical guitarist since arriving in the UK in 2003. He has recorded a solo guitar album entitled Beyond Yourself in 2008 as well as an EP, Discoveries, with his band in the same year.
Maciek's band features Asaf Sirkis on drums/percussion, Patrick Bettison on bass and Maurizio Minardi on accordion/piano and saxophone. The musicians share a common passion for acoustic music and intricate rhythms, bringing together their vast influences to offer a special mix of jazz and world music. This ignite show will feature original compositions from the band's debut EP as well as new material from his upcoming release. The music is a mixture of jazz, tango, flamenco, Latin Amercian rhythms. |
