Performance NotesThis new series gave major composers for film, television and video games to use clips from their work, to talk to broadcaster and promoter Tommy Pearson about the development of creative ideas in their music for the screen.

Host Tommy Pearson is a broadcaster, producer and musician. A host on BBC radio and TV for 14 years, Tommy now runs Red Ted Productions, which makes films/promos for major arts organisations and works regularly with the biggest names in film music producing live orchestral concerts.

BAFTA is the leading UK charity for film, television and video games. As well as our BAFTA Awards ceremonies, we are committed to sharing the craft of film, television and games production, staging over 200 public events a year across the UK, which give our members, the industry and the public the opportunity to learn first-hand from leading industry practitioners.

A composer for television, stage and film and a dramatist for theatre and radio, Murray Gold has scored some of the most innovative programmes on television including Torchwood, Last Tango in Halifax, Shameless and The Musketeers. Murray has been gained five BAFTA nominations for his scores for Doctor Who, Casonova, Queer as Folk and Vanity Fair.
