Performance Notes | The Royal Albert Hall and Music for Youth have a long standing relationship, with Music for Youth presenting the acclaimed Schools Prom concerts at the Hall since 1975. In 2005, both organisations began working more closely together, staging the London Primary Proms, inspirational concerts for young people performed by young people. These free concerts target over 7,000 primary school children and are aimed at enhancing their creative development through music. The Primary Prom concerts, provide a unique opportunity to experience live music in a concert hall setting and children from London and home counties primary and middle schools (aged 4 - 11 years) are invited to attend one of the concerts. |
