Performance Notes | Kazakhstan born pianist Oxana Shevchenko is currently studying with Dmitry Alexeev for a Masters in Performance at the Royal College of Music, supported by the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust.
Oxana has won First Prize in several competitions, including the Scottish International Piano Competition, the Sheepdrove Intercollegiate Piano Competition, the International Balys Dvarionas Competition, and the International Music Critic Prize at the Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition.
In 2011 Oxana worked with Delphian Records to release her debut recording, including works by Shostakovich, Mozart and Ravel: This is the most exciting debut disc to come my way for some time
