Performance NotesThomas's London Day Schools are not strangers to the Royal Albert Hall. The Schools held the "Celebration of Childhood" concert at the Royal Albert Hall on 23 March 1999. The concert involved 950 pupils from Year 1 to Year 8, supported by 100 academic staff singing three works by Howard Blake and accompanied by the sixty-four strong English Chamber Orchestra, and also a finale by the Band of the Brigade of Gurkhas. This event was held to launch a charity "The Thomas's School Foundation". The aims of which are to provide scholarships and to enable the school to initiate community projects. The Foundation is going from strength to strength.

Thomas's London Day Schools return in 2013 with a concert that will include a rerun of 'If' by Rudyard Kipling, hopefully conducted by Howard Blake; The Band of the Brigade of Gurkhas; a celebrity parent, an English Orchestra; two pieces of music performed by all 1500 children. All to be organised along the lines of the "A Celebration of Childhood" performance.

The event was filmed for DVD.
