| Performance Notes | This collaboration between two of the most creative jazz musicians to emerge from the UK scene in the last ten years and one of the true legends of British jazz, famous for his collaboration with Stan Tracey on the most successful UK jazz album of all time, 'Under Milk Wood', has resulted in a new album and an ensemble that is lush, spontaneous and rich in emotion. They play an eclectic choice of material ranging from well-known jazz standards and latin gems to contemporary songs. This concert follows a sold out show at the Pizza Express Jazz Club in February and celebrates the release of their new album 'Red Skies'. |
