Performance Notes | Milo Karadaglic returns for an intimate performance in-the-round this summer in his first concert at the Hall since 2012. MILO will play his greatest hits, with a repertoire featuring everything from Bach to The Beatles. Joining him on stage will be members of the revolutionary string orchestra 12 Ensemble. Plus, acclaimed Saxophonist and BBC Radio 3 presenter Jess Gillam, one of the Halls Associate Artists, will make a special guest appearance to perform a work by Piazzolla, marking the composers 101st birthday anniversary.
The Classic BRIT award-winner is one of the worlds best-known classical guitarists, and this long-awaited concert follows a series of critically-acclaimed albums, including Blackbird The Beatles Album and Sound of Silence, a musical treasure trove, featuring Milo own takes on songs by Leonard Cohen and Radiohead. |
