| Performance Notes | Ahead of his sell-out shows at the Hall in 2023, musician John Legend held a lyric and songwriting workshop in the Elgar Room for young people from Ormiston Academies Trust, , an organisation that supports young learners who have been excluded from mainstream education or are experiencing difficulty with the system. The majority of the students, who were all from the London area, had never met and were hand-picked for the workshop due to a flair for poetry or songwriting. They worked together to write a song about their life experiences and identities, with John accompanying on the piano. |
