Performance NotesIntroducing little ears to the world of classical music, Classical for Kids offers the opportunity for families to attend a chamber concert performed by the professional musicians from the Hall’s very own Albert’s Band.

Each concert features carefully selected proper classical repertoire but presented in a relaxed environment for children to express themselves, with no expectation to stay still or be quiet.

This concert is recommended for ages 4-11 but babies and budding musicians of all ages are welcome!

Opulent Oboes
This concert will feature not one, but two of the Albert’s Band Oboe section! Join Louise Hayter (Oboe) and Maxwell Spires (Oboe & Cor Anglais) as they introduce you to some lesser known composers including Khachaturian, Bozza and Dorati as well as some popular opera arias by Mozart and a famous tune or two by Mr. Traditional himself!
