| Performance Notes | South Londons favourite all-female disco band are on a mission to spread disco-joy!
Made up of musicians whove had solo success in the Jazz world and beyond, All Day Breakfast Café were recently crowned South Londons favourite disco band. They love to bring the party to their live shows with breakfast-themed games such as egg-and-spoon races, pancake flipping contests and dance-offs, and are on a mission to spread disco-joy and to get everyone dancing!
With an equal love for disco greats like Chaka Khan, Earth, Wind & Fire, and jazz legends Art Blakey and Ella Fitzgerald, the band was born just in time for lockdown 2020. Having put their energy into the recording studio instead, they released their debut EP Builders Brew (a play on Miles Davis psychedelic jazz album Bitches Brew) in 2021. |
