Performance Notes | Graduations are the highlight of the Imperial year, at which the university celebrate the achievements of its graduating students. Traditionally, two graduation days are held each year by the College.. Commemoration Day is held in October, while Postgraduate Graduation takes place in May. The ceremonies on Commemoration Day and Postgraduate Graduation take place at the Royal Albert Hall, where they have been celebrated for more than 60 years.
Due to COVID-19 pandemic, the October 2020 Undergraduates and May 2020 and 2021 Postgraduates were unable to attend their graduations. These graduations were accomodated for in May 2022 and this event, which was one of three additional ceremonies on 20 October 2022.
