Performance Notes | The annual performance of Handels sacred oratorio Messiah returns to the Hall as part of our 2022 Christmas season, performed by the Philharmonia Chorus and accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Eduardo Strausser.
Having featured in our programme a total of 568 times since 1872, Handels Messiah is a true Royal Albert Hall tradition. This year, soloists include soprano Ella Taylor, mezzo Angharad Lyddon, tenor Zwakele Tshabalala and bass William Thomas.
The magic of a full choir singing this beloved masterpiece in our iconic auditorium makes Handels Messiah a Christmas concert not to be missed!
