Performance Notes | The legendary US Hip Hop group De La Soul will be performing at the Hall for the first time in 2023. The gig will be a celebration in honour of David Jolicoeur, a.k.a. Trugoy the Dove.
One of the most artistic and creative hip-hop acts ever, the trio from Long Island have had an unquestionable influence since their debut in 1987. As well as hits from their legendary album 3 Feet High and Rising including The Magic Number, Say No Go and Me Myself and I, their subsequent releases have included a collaboration with Gorillaz, Feel Good Inc, which reached no. 2 in the UK singles charts.
Posdnuous represented De La Soul by himself as Vincent 'Maseo' Mason was indisposed.
Guests at the event included Marc Abraham OBE, Neil Cole (actor) |
