"ALBERT HALL THEATRE.
In the little theatre of the Royal Albert Hall yesterday afternoon a very pleasant programme, composed almost entirely of dances, was carried through with no little taste and spirit by Miss Jane Forestier with the held of her pupils and others. A feature of most of the dances given was that they illustrated the music to which they were allied, several representative composers being drawn upon for this purpose, ranging from Beethoven to Debussy, whos 'Golliwog's Cakewalk,' notably, was turned to most effective account by Miss Rambert and Mr Jean Varda, both very clever dancers. Miss Forestier (who is a daughter of the well-known composr, Dr Arthur Somerwell) was seen to advantage in, among other numbers, a well-conceived version f Sibelius's 'Valse Triste,' ending on a tragic note. Miss Hilda Bewick danced to Polish and Russian music, and the programme - which is to be repeated to-day for the British Prsoners of War Food, Parcels, and Clothing Fun - was varied by Miss Patuffa Kennedy-Fraser, heard in some 'Songs of the Hebrides.'"
