Performance NotesProduced by Mr Collins for Mr C B Cochran. A scenic backdrop was installed by Vladimir Polunin and the costumes were designed by Russian Impressionist painter Konstantin Korovin.

The production was held in celebration of the extension of the Charter of the Royal Albert Hall which meant that opera could be staged. It was a forerunner of later opera productions staged at the Hall by its Manager, Mr C B Cochran.
