Performance Notes | The Royal Albert Hall will host, in partnership with the Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851, the first ever TEDxAlbertopolis: a celebration of the scientific, exploration, educational, artistic, academic research, and musical activities which exist side by side in and around South Kensington and which contribute so much to the cultural and scientific life of London and enrich the world.
Run under license from TED, TEDx events provide a stage for passionate speakers to ignite debates on issues that are relevant to their local community. The event is primarily aimed at the local community in the 'Albertopolis' area and many students are expected to attend.
The event was streamed live and broadcast on the TED website.
The event included stalls in the auditorium galleries from organisations based in Albertopolis. |
