Performance NotesGeorge Fenton's work in film and television has seen him score for over 100 films and collaborate with some of the most influential filmmakers in the UK. His ambitious and masterful approach to music is most recognised in The Planets Trilogy: The Blue Planet, Planet Earth and Frozen Planet for which he has won numerous awards including a BAFTA and Emmy award for Best Television Score.

Fenton's creation of the critically acclaimed concerts The Blue Planet, Planet Earth and Frozen Planet in Concert have been performed by the world's leading orchestras and continue to bring the wonders of the planet to mass audiences worldwide. His most recent scores include Stephen Frears' latest film Muhammad Ali's Greatest Fight, the music for Ken Loach's film The Spirit of '45 and the hugely successful Untold Stories by Alan Bennett, which has recently moved to the West End. Fenton is 5 times Oscar nominated.
