Performance Notes'With a body or performers consisting largely of amateur, and therefore shifting, elements a new season means almost a new campaign, the intervening holiday having naturally a disturbing influence on the minds of the singers which can be recouped only be renewed training. If any apprehension of this kind had been felt it was dispelled entirely by Wednesdays' night preformance, which proved from the beginning to the end that the Albert Hall Choir - at present by far the best in London - remains in full possession of its exceptional qualities'.
