| Performance Notes | 'All the children had jubilee medals, and the choristers had sashes also - the boys red and the girls blue. The Princess Louise and the Marquis of Lorne arrived in an open carriage at 20 minutes past 3, and were loudly cheeerd. The presentation of prizes by her Royal Highness was at once proceeded with. There consisted of beautiful photographs of Her Majesty, framed or onamented, some in gilt, others in leather, all being given at the personal expense of Princess Louise'. (The Times, 23 June 1887) |
