Performance NotesThe NYCGB Chamber Choir, conducted by their new Director Ben Parry, presents a sparkling programme of 20th and 21st century choral works to celebrate the centenary of Benjamin Britten and the launch of a brand new CD of his choral works, performed by all eight choirs of NYCGB. The programme focuses on Britten's own unaccompanied choral output, including some of his most famous compositions such as A Hymn to St Cecilia and AMDG, as well exploring the rich diversity of works by other British composers including Michael Tippett, William Walton and James MacMillan.

Alan Britten, CBE (nephew of composer Benjamin Britten) was a guest at the event.
