Performance NotesThe 2013 Schools Prom concerts aim to unite the performers and audience through exploring a common theme which takes us on a different musical journey each evening. The first concert is brought together under the banner of 'Celebration' of the music shared, for its own sake. The second concert takes the concept of 'Transformation' as its theme and the final concert takes the notion of 'Innovation' as the common thread drawing the repertoire and performances together.

Each concert is a showcase for the exuberance, skills and talent of gifted young performers from every corner of the UK and each reaches a triumphant climax with a finale of fireworks, balloons and Elgar's stirring Pomp and Circumstance March No. 1 - "Land of Hope and Glory".
