Performance NotesScratch Concerts return with their annual Messiah from Scratch. The afternoon concert only will be a 'Youth Messiah', presenting 32 of the total 41 numbers from the Messiah and with the young people singing free of charge.

Scratch Concerts (formerly The Really Big Chorus) is Britain's largest choral society, made up of singers from hundreds of different choirs, as well as individuals who have taken part in other Scratch events. The concerts will include the English Festival Orchestra and will be conducted by Suzi Digby (afternoon) and Brian Kay (evening).
