Performance NotesLed by Frank Renton of Radio 2's "Listen to the Band", with military brass, school choir and celebrity performers from TV's most popular shows, including Eastenders, Coronation Street and Downton Abbey, to name but a few, every performer donates their time and talent entirely free of charge. Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research's Christmas Carols with the Stars event has taken place at the Royal Albert Hall for 42 years, and is an opportunity to recognise the support and to say thank you to the very many volunteers who raise money for the charity, which in the last year has enabled the charity to invest £27 million in beating blood cancers.
