Performance NotesBenjamin Goldscheider began learning the horn at the age of 9. He has since been a pupil of Susan Dent at the Royal College of Music Junior Department, where he receives a full scholarship. When he was 13, Benjamin was appointed principal horn of the National Youth Chamber Orchestra and in 2012, became a member of the National Youth Orchestra. Aged 14, he was was the youngest participant in the prestigious London Symphony Orchestra Brass Academy, participating in masterclasses and workshops with the LSO Principals.

Matt Glendening from Nottingham has studied clarinet with Anthony Bailey and piano with Neil Roxburgh for three years at the Royal College of Music Junior Department. For the past two years Matt has been a member of the National Youth Orchestra, performing with them at the BBC Proms in the Royal Albert Hall as well as in many other prestigious venues across the UK. Prior to this he was principal clarinettist in the National Children’s Orchestra – a position he also holds with the Nottingham Youth Orchestra.
