Performance Notes"The First Lady of Musical Theatre" returns to the Royal Albert Hall for a very special show with special guests and the BBC Concert Orchestra as part of her farewell tour.

Elaine Paige has made a major contribution to the modern musical, starring in numerous productions in the West End and on Broadway. She swept to fame with her award-winning performance as Eva Perón in Evita, before creating the roles of Grizabella in the original production of Cats, the classic song Memory becoming her signature, and Florence in Chess, featuring her record-breaking No. 1 hit I Know Him So Well with Barbara Dickson.

This show will encompass the Olivier winner's monumental career, including songs from the world of musical theatre and her hugely successful recording catalogue.

“I’ve thought long and hard about this decision, but feel this landmark event, my 50th Anniversary, is a good time to bid adieu. I’m really look forward to seeing everyone – it’ll be As If We Never Said Goodbye!” Elaine Paige

Jacques Azagury - dress designer, Laura Corcoran - director.

The event was attended by Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber and Sir Tim Rice, who made a surprise appearance on stage to present Elaine Paige with a floral bouquet at the end of 'Memory', the best-known sing from Lloyd Webber's musical 'Cats'.

The event was audio recorded and released as a CD and DVD as ''Elaine Paige - I’m Still Here - Live At The Royal Albert Hall' by SFE.
The event was audio recorded by BBC Radio 2 for broadcast.
