TitleProposed scheme for the future Management of the Royal Albert Hall
Description3 page document by F J Mouat, Chairman of the Executive Management Committee proposing several radical changes to help with the difficult financial state that the Hall found itself in 1875.
Mouat proposed changes to the Charter and its Constitution:-
i) That the a Supplemental Chatre should be sought so that the Hall could be used for other purposes not direcelty connected to Science and Art.
ii) That the seatholders should surrender all their privileges for 6 days in each year
iii) That the Hall should employ a full time Manager to find entertainments for the Hall and to report back monthly about all the transactions of the Hall.
Mouat also suggested that the Hall must act in "harmonious unison with the great institutions surrounding and adjoining it, of which it is the complement and the key-stone."
