Creator NameArthur Lockwood RWS RBA RBSA (1934-2019).
Arthur was born in Birmingham and worked as a freelance book designer in London before returning to the midlands in 1987 to paint full time. He chose to record changes in urban areas and industry. He was elected a member of the Royal Society of British Artists in 2001 and an associate of the Royal Watercolour Society in 2006.
Administrative HistoryCommissioned by RAH and Royal Watercolour Society (RWS) for and exhibition at the RAH, 'A Year in the Life of the Royal Albert Hall' held at the RAH 23 April-7 June 2011. Also hung in the RWS Spring Exhibition at Bankside Gallery, 48 Hopton Street, London.
